(1) TOG247 is a Photographic Community website owned by its members and available to all registered members subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Code of Conduct.

(2) By accessing or using this site, you are agreeing to the Code of Conduct. If any member breaches any of the Code their authorisation to use this site may be terminated, either temporarily, or permanently if the breaches continue.

(3) Members are required to provide a username, password and valid e-mail address, and are entitled to only one account. If a member is found to be actively using multiple accounts they may be removed from membership with no recourse to any benefits gained. This will not apply where TOG247 administrators need to set up test accounts to test improvements and innovations to the site.

(4) Members must be treated with respect and courtesy at all times. Members are requested not to insult or make personal attacks on other members, either past or present. Remarks deemed to be libellous, defamatory, slanderous or offensive will be deleted.

(5) All information that you disclose becomes public information and caution should be exercised when deciding to share any of your personal information or discussing another person, website or organisation.

(6) Images uploaded by a member to any TOG247 gallery should normally be the work of the author, but where this is not so, then please say so. The Administrators take no responsibility for images that breach copyright. Images deemed inappropriate for any reason will be deleted and an explanation of the reason sent to the member, either by PM or e-mail.

(7) Members are encouraged to provide constructive comments on other members’ images whenever possible, to enable all members to progress in their photographic development.

(8) Details of warez, serialz or other items regarding piracy or breach of copyright may neither be requested or discussed.

(9) Advertisements for goods or services you sell commercially must not be included in forums or galleries without first obtaining permission from the Administrators.

(10) Links or pointers to other websites and references to products and services offered by third parties are provided to you for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement or approval by us of a) the organisations that operate such websites; b) the content, privacy policies or other terms of use on such websites; or c) such third party products and services. As we have no control or responsibility over websites or content maintained by other organisations, or for products and services offered by third parties, we do not assume any liability for your use of any of the foregoing, which use you acknowledge and agree shall be at your own risk.

(11) Members must not behave in a way that could be construed as an attack on the site. This includes hacking the site via backend or frontend, DOS attacks and similar criminal attacks. But it also includes using the software to manipulate the site to your own advantage, eg "flamebait" postings, multiple postings over a short period of time, identical or similar repeat postings. Such behaviour will result in the immediate termination of your account.

(12) Under no circumstances will the owners of TOG247, Site Administrators or Moderators be liable in any way for any content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or made available in any other way via the website.

(13) Glamour / Nude / Bikini pictures - Please do not embed such images in your messages. Whilst the Administrators accept that such pictures (tastefully shot) are a big part of commercial photography, TOG247 has a wide audience and children may be on the site. If you wish to bring a gallery of tasteful Glamour/Nude/Partially Nude or Bikini images to members attention then please just post a link or upload only to the Nude/ Partially Nude Gallery. TOG247 does not allow any nude / semi-nude / voyeuristic pictures of children (any under the age of 18 ) or links to such galleries. If in doubt, then consult TOG247 Administrators. No links to sites of a pornographic nature may be made.

(14) Legal ownership - Each message posted is owned by and the opinion of the original poster. Neither TOG247 nor its owners, administrators, or moderators are legally responsible for anything posted on these forums. The Administrators reserve the right to remove any or all of your messages at any time and ban you if they consider that the messages contravene the Rules set out in this Code of Conduct.

(15) In the unlikely event that a ban has to be imposed, then this will only be done by a joint decision of at least two administrators or moderators and a full explanation of the reason for the ban will be sent by e-mail to your last registered e-mail address.

(16) As the Code of Conduct may change periodically in accordance with the wishes of the membership, members should ensure they are familiar with it whenever posting to the site.
