Default Where Are They Now?

I was having a conversation yesterday about the old days (any smart remarks and I'll send the Stormtroopers round) and the topic of everyday household names that are no more came up.

We came up with the following we believe are no longer around.

1. Brobat (bleach)
2. Mazola (cooking oil)
3. Smedleys (tinned veg)
4. Bejam (frozen foods)
5. Keymarket (supermarket)
6. Liptons (supermarket)
7. Damart (clothing)
8. Yashica (cameras)
9. Minolta (cameras)

If you can think of any add them to the list.

And we still receive a book from Damart.

Bejam changed its name to Iceland.

How about Spangles (sweets) and Esso Blue (parafin) and Pepsodent (toothpaste)

# Liptons (became part of Allied Foods, then Argyll Foods, before Safeway (UK) and now part of Wm Morrison).

Damart closed their shop in Portsmouth just after Christmas, they had a note in the window saying they had gone into Administration.

Bit like Jessies then, closed some to save others.

Mazola in Morrisons, I don't shop in there so that explains why I haven't seen it lately.
