Just thought i would keep you guys informed on my situation,

Had a hospital appointment on Thursday Ear Nose and Throat Dept, after hearing test and ear drum pressure test and then consultation it was decided that my problem isnt an inner ear on and is probably a neurological one, and so I have to have an MRI to check both inner ear and cerebellum. Bit scary! only thing is ... I have to wait just under a month till begining of Nov!

Then Sat woke up with sickness and the runs, and was violently ill all day, was better yesterday except for stomach cramps and being really weak, still got a dodgy tum :(

Just looking forward to Thursday (my b-day) going to Lincoln with the BF - where I went to uni n also met my BF, staying over night then going out for a meal with family back in Sheff, then Sat a get together with aunties / cousins etc :) havent seen em since april so willbe good, just wish i would be back to full health!

anyway there we go explains why this weekend Ive been AWOL and will be off thursday-sun

Don't worry about the MRI - it is a bit noisy but that is all. You get earplugs anyway and they work quite well. I joked "this is comfy, think I'll go to sleep". No chance! :D

Thanks Nigel,

It's not so much the actual scanning that worries me, but if they find something when they do :confuse:

sounds like you are doing the right thing Sarah and keeping yourself occupied and distracted. One step at at a time ...and in the meantime there is no point in worrying about the scan not at least until the night before!!

Ahhh all the best Sarah, I hope thye soon get it sorted out.

Good job you have such a thoughtful b/f isn't it!!! Sounds like being stuck indoors would be a pretty good 2nd option, should you feel unwell

(i have re-edited, hope that sounds right... the first one said "you shoud feel unwell!!!" Sorry
