28 - 90 usm

Bought a film camera body last week with a 28 - 90 usm lens for £25 just sold the lens on a 3 day auction for £28, now wondering whether I should have kept it.:confuse:

drop it then email the buyer and let them know it suffered a packaging accident and you will be refunding them their money :D.

ive no idea whether you should have kept it or not though lol!

That was my thought, can't post it till tomorrow, so if anyone can tell me whether its a good addition, although I am now trying to get a 28-300 DG, would this be a worthy addition till I do? or is it just poo

why not try it for yourself, if you like the results then thats all that matters.

Sent the bloke an email to say I am away till weds, gonna give it a go as you say James, it does seem ok, and it does feel better built than the kit lens too. The ultrasinoics still work and the threads for the filter are metal. Seen some ok reviews for it, nothing sparkling but I think it will be a stop gap till I get a better DG
