Wondering if anyone has done any online photography courses?
Anybody got any recommendations?
Cheers all

i know this may sound like a daft question Liam, but what do you want to learn about photography?
How to use your camera?
How to take stunning pictures?
How to store/edit your pics afterwards?
Or a bit of all 3?

I have done the professional photography diploma with the photography institute, bit pricey but v through, starts with theory of lenses and aperture and shutter speed, a bit about the history of photography from the beginning right through to digital erm then a bit on the different types of photography etc
you get matched with a tutor who is a pro in similar areas to what you want to get into lots of assignments and feedback etc.
only downside is the price!
£500
it helped me no end!

i think if i was to personally do a photography course i would want a personal touch rather than an online one, check the back of AP or any other magazine for that fact for courses in your area.

The wedding photography course I went on locally was crap, even though I did all the research etc into the different courses! The online one I did was great and i could ask my tutor anything and always had a reply within 24 hours. He even helped when I didnt fully understand what the question was getting at!

try the open college of the arts, you can do a variety of courses, from single focussed modules to a degree. Again, not cheap :D
