Any1 Familiar with Wordpress?

If so... would someone be kind enough to talk me through how to get started or actually set up the basics for me? I have the webspace...

I wanna start blogging my photographic life but mostly slag off the people i work for sometimes (dennis :D) ... in all seriousness... I will regret in 20 years not being able to remember!

I have a few wordpress blogs and 2 of my kids have one too.
Can't remember how I started them up but it must have been very straightforward for me to have managed it!
I use wordpress because it seemed the most straightforward. It has some frustrating quirks when it comes to formatting though.
