A lot have us have made special friends on here--meeting up for G2G's & having a laugh, or just through chatting via the forums, so i thought it would be nice to thank some of those friends when they've done something extra special!

So i'd like to nominate Kim for a Tog Gong--a GOLD one !!!:top:

She has exelled in Togdomship by coming with me to hospital in the ambulance, staying with me when i was scared & in pain, visiting me every day, moving my house around when i came home so it would be easier for me to move around on crutches, doing my shopping & filling my fridge with easy to cook meals, & then to top it all, she & her lovely hubby turned up unexpectedly today & while Kim cooked me a lovely meal, her hubby took my bins out (something i can't manage on crutches, as there are loads of steps up to my house & binmen don't do steps!! ) So for thoughtfulness, & all the other things you've done :kisscheek:, please accept this Tog Gong Kim, with my undying gratitude!!!!!

So come on guys, who do you want to nominate for a gong?? Does someone help you out with lifts to Tog days---has anyone lent you a camera till yours was mended--Have you made brilliant friends with someone whilst camping on a GTG???? Tell us about special toggers that YOU know-- it could be your partner!!:)

GO ON--- give them a virtual medal!!!

xx jan

What a nice thought Miffy, we here so much negativity these days, it's nice to be reminded that human nature is alive and kicking. Having said that, there must be something about special about 'Toggers' as all those I've met since joining have been extraordinarily helpful, both on the forum and the two friends I've met locally. I now go 'Toggin' regularly with them and find them interesting and very good company. For me the 'Gong' must go to 'The Gov' as he met up with me right at the start in a Forrest to show me his equipment and how to use it, I was impressed with his 18-200;) If he hadn't taken the trouble/risk I might never have become an enthusiastic 'Togger' well an amateur one anyway.
