as you know im looking for one but ive only ever seen new on ebay for about £300 if you buy from usa or china. ive found a second hand one, being sold in the uk. currently its at £185.

can anyone give me an idea of a realistic price for it? is it likely to go for around the same amount as a new one? it finishes tonight at 19:00ish but im out taking Daniel to see Man Utd then.

It is at a good price at the moment if it is in excellent condition.

I personally wouldn't go over £250 for a secondhand one, better saving up for a new one.:)

thx Stew, i was thinking of putting a max £250 bid in, especially as all the cheaper new ones are usa and knowing my luck id end up having to pay import tax or whatever its called!

thx Ben. ive bid on this, max £250. if i lose out then ill just carry on saving! the good thing about being out when it finishes is i wont be tempted to up the bid. ill probably be gutted if it sells for £255 though lol.

they were under 300 new just 6 months ago, prices have rocketted recently and they're now around 400 new. anything under 300 for a mint one has to be a bargain

All camera prices have shot up in the last 6 months, it's wonder anyone can buy anything... 2nd hand market looks best bet.

looks like im carrying on saving! i bid same amount on another which eventually went for 280ish. been photographing more stuff for ebay tonight, ill have that lens eventually! im hoping to get enough to get myself a flash too, but lens comes first!
