This is probably huge news for all lightroom users, the best news ive heard for ages infact.
The new version of mogrify, an export plugin, now has a compress to file size action. Meaning you can specify 200kb for a site like this, and it will reduce the quality to keep the image to 200kb.

I have to agree, no messing now when I export for Tog. I just right click my pic & chose my Tog preset, does the right size in pixels & KB all together :top: I donated a few £ to the developer & you get the benefits of being able to do more than one pic at a time & regular updates
does this work with Lightroom 3?

I'm not going to install LR3 until it's out of beta so I can't check this. I have looked on Timothy Armes site & there is no mention of it yet, will be one to keep an eye on :)
ive installed LR3 on my new computer, as well as the trial version of CS4 :D. its only been up and running a day though so no comments on it yet. i also need to calibrate my monitor as it has a horrible pink tinge to it. im going to borrow the Spyder from camera club tomorrow (hopefully).
ill give Mogrify a try, will be easy enough to get rid if it doesnt work.
