Hope this is the right place for this question - this little bit of the forum looked a bit lonely with no posts :)

OK, so I have my photo's stored in a program called Digital Photo Professional - it's the software that came with my Canon camera. It has a facility where you can transfer the photo to Photoshop for editing.

When I do whatever fiddling I want to do to make my fantastic pics even better:rolleyes:, and try to save the changes I get a pop up that says

"Could not save because file is locked. Use the Properties command in Windows Explorer to unlock file"

Thing is, as far as I know I haven't locked any files, and if I transfer the photo's directly into Photoshop, not via the DPP I can alter and save without a problem.

Anyone any ideas???

I dont have the software or a canon Diana, but from what i gather, DPP transfers to photoshop, converts the file to Tiff file format. The options for these are in the batch processing options.
Best check these options first, and the location of where the tiff is being saved.
