I've been wanting to get a beanbag for ages so now, having the 300mm prime, i decided to get one for using in bird hides etc

I just ordered it from here (http://www.camerabeanbags.co.uk/) I've heard lots of good things about them, good quality & run by a young couple. Only £11.75 posted too :top:

I think they sent it out yesterday so it may be here, today/tomorrow. Looking forward to it, it will make life a bit more comfy & give more options for resting the camera in different places, if my camera doesnt need it, i can sit on it :D

It does say on their site "Please be aware that we will be closed for business from 13 October to 28 Oct therefore the last date for posting out orders will be 12 Oct. Normal postage will resume on 31 Oct"

Oh it's just arrived! Good quality & looks like it's well worth the money. Just 2 little bags neatly stitched together with a little strap between the two. Need to go & test it somewhere now :D

Hope you didn't get a DPM one as you know you're never gonna find it once you've put it down.

How big is it if you are going to sit on it when the lens doesn't need it? :D

I didn't say you had a large butt, but it must be a bit bigger than the footprint of a lens? :bum:

I do know your address Harold ;)

Back to the beanbag, luckily it's a decent size, plenty of room for my shiny NIKON 300MM PRIME lens :o

I made one of these many years ago - an old sock filled with dried peas. Been using it for years on and off.

I bought one of these years ago but they take up so much space in your kit bag :(
Very useful though ;)
