Just wanted to say a quick goodbye, I am off to Peru tomorrow to walk the Inca trail to Machu Picchu :)

It's a lifelong ambition of mine to do it but owing to poor health haven't been able to until now :D I have also done this for my charity which I have raised nearly £3000 for - so it's a happy time for me :)

I shall miss seeing all your lovely pictures but will catch up on my return and hopefully that thin oxygen will help aid my weird and wacky ideas for some more pics! lol!

thanks everyone! I was torn which camera to take - really wanted to take my new baby and two lenses but in the end it was all too heavy what with carrying my camel water pouch with 2 litres of water and several other items :( so taking my 450D and just my 24-105mm.

I was thinking of the Kilimanjaro too Bryan - but am also thinking of the Urangutan rescue project in Borneo - choices choices! It's hard with the fitness - I have had to really up my game on that front, but hopefully it's been worth it - will let you all know!
