Silver efex

Hi All
I got a version of Silver efex Pro, and installed it, had problems ever since the install, just wondering if any others had problems.

Firstly when I installed this add on, my CS5 stopped working as it was, when I opened CS5 after installing it, I could not use anything, everything was greyed out, so I played around a little, and found that my preset workstation I made for myself in CS5 did not work so I switched to essential, it worked then switched back to my space it then worked.......:headbanger:

If I open Lightroom and want to transfer a picture to CS5, then lightroom seems to be working correct but when it brings up CS5 the hour glass is working but then no image appears.....:headbanger:

And once I am in CS5 I cant go to MB mini now as it does not recognise it being there....:headbanger:

And now my whole computer is working at a snails pace, when I am working on a photo, it can take for ever for what ever i am trying to do.....:headbanger:

Has anyone had any of these issues or is it just me again....:D

If so is there anyway I can resolve this, I have uninstalled Silver Effex but the issues still arise.....your help would be appreciated....:confuse:

You didn't download a 'dodgy' copy did you?? Check for viruses...:rolleyes:

Hi Nigel, it was a copy, and I think, well I have been told that when I downloaded it on my computer it has tried to verify my copys of CS and then corrupted the lot, because the CS was not authorised, I maybee should shut down Internet connection when installing effex....! I did an uninstall and system restore and I seem to have them working as normal again, but still very slow, will need to install more memory i think...:headbanger:
