Hi everyone. Not been on for quite a while. My bad:(

Managed to download Adobe CS5 Master Collection the other day which I'm made up with cos I've never had a PS before, except a few free month trials.

However it's clear I'm going to need some help with learning how to use it and had a quick scan on ebay for some books but there's so many different types and I don't really want to make the mistake of buying the wrong one.

Can anyone recommend one at all?

I've actually got quite a good book for advanced Photoshop skills.. I can lend it to you if you like... its for Cs5 i believe....

ok... well its for CS4 but theres not a lot of difference

Shaun. I'm going into town tomorrow and will probably nip into the library just to see if they have anything but if not, I'll be very grateful to lend your book, thanks:top:I wasn't sure if their was much difference between cs4 and cs5

There is actually a MASSIVE difference in the programs themselves, but as far as the user is concerned, they both drive the same.

If you learn CS4 then you can drive CS5, it just has a few more bells and whistles!

Exactly... but as a new user is concerned.. the basics are pretty much the same.... even with a photographer concerned, there isn't a huge difference to what I now do differently from cs4
