been a few reports recently about these systems hogging bandwidth, they are basically peer to peer networks.

google TV on demand monitor, its a nifty little programme which switches off any p2p network set up by most of these on demand services when you are not using them. My browsing speeds have returned to normal since I installed it

Very strange i can get on fine with firefox on my laptop, think there must be something wrong with the desktop:(

Try Google Chrome. I use all three and this is the fastest.

My website timed out getting to my Flickr site just now and that's a 16M link. The net may be vast and infinite, it can also run slow some days ;)
