Hello there,

I said I would put a few places in Ireland that I have been to as I grew up.
I live in the south of Ireland North Cork. Ok maybe you have seen adds on TV
newspapers, Internet where ever you have seen them I bet you they always say to visit
Dublin look at the spire, Go to Galway for night life and all this crack but they never mention the
little places in Ireland that people actuly want to see.

Doneraile Park, Located about 15km outside Mallow,Co.Cork
Adare Manor , Co.Limerick
Clonakilty, West Cork
Skibbereen, West Cork
Kerry
Kenmare, Outside Killarney
Kilarney has a park called ''Killarney national Park''
Galway has few nices places
Dingle, half an hour outside Tralee
Lehinch, Ennis. Co.Clare
Lough Derg Lake which goes towards Athlone
North of ireland is very nice too
Enniskillen, Co.Fermanagh
Belfast, Co.Down

Kerry is the place to go for landscape and little old villagespacked with them.
If you were planning on visiting Ireland, I strongly advise that you visit the south-west what most of my
relations have done is that visit ireland from the UK they come to Cork and they make ther way up the west side of Ireland there is hundreads of towns/villages to stop off in.
I have been to many places as I traveled with my parents, We mainly go to the south west fantstic places.
Dont hesitate to give me a shout if you are and I can recomend some other places.Another great deal that I have seen is on Lough Derg you can rent out boats for certin periods of time ranging from weekends from few weeks, We have a boat that we go out few times a year and the little towns along the shannon that you can stop off in are fantastic, Garrykennedy is one of the most smallest nicest places i have ever been too 2 little pubs nice food and thats it and obviously the marina and the view you get is amazing check
www.waterwaysireland.ie or www.silverlinecruises.ie my aunt rented out the silverline cruise and she said it was fantastic.

Paul, what a lovely idea for a new thread--we all know special places that maybe are never mentioned under "where to go " lists, i i think we could put up our OWN special places for other toggers to visit!!. I've never been to Ireland, Paul, but have seen some pics of the West, & it does look gorgeous!! It's really lovely to visit off-the-beaten-track places,& your list looks well worth a try---if i ever go, i'll definitely copy your list & go a-wandering!!! Thank you!!!:top: I love the sound of the boat along the Shannon!!
