Can anyone tell me please how to remove the snap to function in CS3. especially when using selection tools.

In cs4 it's on the view (I think) menu, same as guides, it might be a menu of a menu iykwim. There's an item that says snap and it's either ticked or unticked.

I am only going by CS5 here but 3 is probably the same. In the menu bar, go along to 'view' then down to 'snap' or 'snap to' and you can turn on/off the various options, i.e. what you wish to snap to.

Holding the CTRL key will temporarily disable snapping too by the way :top:

Wasn't sure which one it is in windoze so kept my mouth shut! :p

strangely it is the same for windows and Mac.

lol you are so right! my shoulders, arms and legs ache, my back is fine though lol. i wouldnt be doing anything else in bed on a Sunday afternoon, would i!
