It will, they bought them in January so haven't been able to do much in the transfer market.
Portsmouth are in need of a new ground and other facilities and if the planned stadium goes ahead, which is a lot more likely with this chap in charge, it is going to be hosting international matches and is on the list to be a ground if England get the world cup in 2018.

Not bad considering he has a load of Pompey rejects playing for him. :D
That is more or less where Pompey finished the previous season.
Can't wait for next one now. :)

I just want this guy to get the club on an even keel, get the new ground sorted and the training facilities.
We don't need overhyped overpaid players being associated with the club...:)

you dont Stewart, shouldnt think any fans do.. but its the marketing team that will.
As a chelsea fan, been getting bored of this kinda thing for a few years now.
In the end, you just go with the flow. It can only make things better, and no point in looking back.

money talks and money wins things in football, saying it hasn't worked for man city is a couple of years early methinks, the owners there are looking long term at building a side to play football and to compete at the highest level, if the new pompey owners follow the same route you'll be laughing.
If however they come in demanding instant success, thats when it all goes pear shaped
as a lifelong man city fan, ive seen the crap we've had to deal with over the years, and I know where I'd rather be at the moment.
3 or 4 big signings in the summer will do for me, then its top 6 with a shot at arsenals 4th place :top:
but wasnt their initial aim for a champions league spot this season? im sure that was what was reported when they first took over.

They should be aiming for that this coming season.
Portsmouth should be looking at Europa league spot, with the right players to compliment the few decent ones we have at the moment we should definitely finish top half.
I'd be happy with that. :)

no that was one rather over exited arab shooting his mouth off, the owner got shut of him very quickly, sadly the damage was done :legal:
we will see what next season has to offer. im hoping that Man Utd will be back stronger, now the kids have learnt how it feels to lose a major final they wont want to go through it again. they were completely outclassed last night.i also hope Fergie gets rid of Berbatov in the summer and we keep Tevez.

stew is the bloke taking over pompey Al Fahim? If it is, then you got problems, he's the guy who came into City and shouted his mouth off about buying everyone and taking over the world, complete balloon
