There does shaun but it looks like it's turned on here. Just spoke to Ben, he said he was trying to sort it but needs to look into it further. He's out til a bit later on.

Yes Jeni... you do :D

Ok temporarily.....

when you upload a photo >>extra options>>>Select yes for notify

Think we just need to set that as the default value

Jeni

i forget these sorts of things lol. its not a huge problem, would just be nice to get messages when you get comments.

i think so, will get Ben to figure it out. I just set a pic for notification & it's not doing it, lol

We'll keep looking. It will almost certainly be an option you can turn off tho

i turned on email notification for Marvins group pic, the spammed a reply and got email notification from it. you wont get a notification if its you commenting on your own pic, you never did at the other place anyway.

ahhh cool :top: i just made 5 comments on my own pic lol & that's why it didn't work :confuse:

I too prefer the default to be off, with the option to check a box if I want notification.

i think i do Steve... although when i was banned, it was handy

I liked the notify on pics as sometimes people commented on a pic you'd forgotten about

i liked getting the emails, so an option to either enable or disable it would be good then, rather than having to selctit for every picture (which i forget to do lol)

That would be ideal Jeni - I too like to switch on and find I have new comments - especially for old submissions.:)

There appears to be only one option i have for this and it is global, ie it would affect everyone.

Default of on or off.

I appreciate some would prefer it on as default, but am sure as many would prefer it off as default too.
On the basis it probably does affect bandwidth (not sure, but im sure it must) i would prefer to keep the default to off.
But if the shout is loud enough, i will of course change it.

Hope thats ok folks.

I would prefer on, but if it's off, am i correct in assuming we will be able to change it ourselfs?
