I have just finished having a chat with a mate of mine who says I need to get myself networked.

Myface, Spacebook, Youberk, Twatter etc...

Is it worth it?

I don't want to be spending hours on these sites unless I get results from them.

What is your opinion of them?

i use twitter, when i remember, and for facebook i just read peoples updates and play bejeweled blitz. i see loads of people advertising stuff on twitter, and some of my contacts advertise their stuff on facebook too. in fact i linked to one of their products to recommend it to someone on twitter lol.

I agree - the site not the ban :D

it's turning out to be something else isn't it?

I've just invited a few friends from college, only 4. The ads will prove useful for us too, they are nice & subtle

If you want to advertise your services so to speak or your skills the best site for this is http://www.linkedin.com which is set up specifically to network amongst and beyond your own kind - people with similar interests, jobs etc. I have 12 direct connections ( people I know on the site) who between them have 136 and a network of 13,000. I recommend it.
