Sooo excited!

Well, my other half has a music magaazine, so i take most of the photos for the gigs he covers..... i thought we'd try our luck and get tickets to Five Finger Death Punch @ o2 in oxford, and the contact their said she could give us a free pass into the gig each but not a photo pass, she would have to check with the tour manager. that was 3 weeks ago!

I took matters into my own hands and sent an email to who i thought was the right person, got no reply, so managed to locate the details of the publicity manager, so i thought bugger it ill call him, which i have and hes put me on the photographers list :D

photos to go in the mag my bf does but will try send some into kerrang, etc with a review see if i can get published :) they might already have someone covering it but i dont really have anything to lose.

I am really excited, i just hope i feel ok (not too dizzy) but im going anyway dizzy or not!

anyone got any tips on how to get work publised in magazines? i assume i would just send the images and the review off with a covering letter, saying who i am what i want to do etc?

any help would be AWESOME!

Thanks everyone, any ideas how i should approach the magazines? ie what i should put into my letter/ e-mail.
should I send them one prior to the gig or just wait till after?

am email before would be good, i think ,as they may be able to advise you,what to do etc and possibly tell you how to submit to there picture desk.
